A first birthday deserves to be celebrated.
We begin with beautiful portraits before bringing out the cake and letting the fun unfold.
Some dive straight in, while others take their time and need a little encouragement. There’s no right way to smash a cake, and that’s what makes every session unique.
We finish with a warm bath, so no cakey hands find their way into Mum’s car. Plenty of splashing and bubbles are practically compulsory.

THE PERFECT TIME
There really isn’t just one.
From around 4 months, babies begin giving us so much to photograph. Those big expressions, tummy time, grabbing their toes and discovering everything around them.
As they grow, we move into one of my favourite stages, sitting independently but not quite on the move. This is when we often get those gorgeous little rolls, wobbly sits, belly laughs and personality in abundance.
And if your baby is already crawling, standing or taking their first steps, you haven’t missed it. Every stage brings something different, and your session simply follows where they are right now.
